Just got back from KindieFest (the world’s first-ever family music conference). It was great to meet and hang out with other children musicians down in Brooklyn. There were many highlights...but I would have to say, meeting Dan Zanes and Mindy Thomas(from SiriusXM), and Miss Amy was pretty AWESOME. Can't wait to go back next year!

The Mr. Gym Band is playing a fundraiser for Adams Adventure on February, 24th at the Tolland High School auditorium. Show stars at 7pm and is open to the public. For tickets and more information visit www.adamsadventure.org

The Mr. Gym Band finished recording their new CD! We are now in the process of mixing the tracks and hope to release it in the Spring of 2012. Hope everyone enjoys the holidays with their family!

Well...Summer tour was pretty EPIC!!! Just played tons of shows and went surfing in RI all summer. Now I'm back at school teaching PE and having a blast. Hope to try and finish up my studio CD this fall and release it this winter.

Summer tour has been great so far...50 shows this summer!!! The Mr. Gym Band just played a great gig in Armonk, NY last week and we are heading into the studio this weekend. The Mr. Gym Band is currently in the studio recording their new CD “Movin’ 2 Music”. The CD will feature 12 new original movement songs! We hope to release it in the Spring of 2011. It’s going to rock!!!

Playing 10 shows over April Vacation...what a blast!!!

Mr. Gym will now be sharing the stage with Eric Korp on Djembe and Ben Golder-Novick on Sax. Eric is a new addition to the band and he also is an elementary PE teacher. The Mr. Gym Band is looking to go into the studio and start recording and new CD.

Summer is here!!! I finally graduate and now I have my master degree in Physical Education. I’m looking forward to hitting the road and playing around 30 shows in the next couple months. Could not ask for a better summer job! Thanks Mr. Gym fans!!!

Well...I'm so happy to be done with my thesis! I will be graduating in a couple weeks! Other than that, I'm looking forward to going on tour this summer and playing Mr. Gym shows all around the state. It will also be fun to play gigs again with my acoustic rock band. In addition, I’ve been looking into recording a new CD and hope to get back into the studio.

Almost done with my thesis and I can’t wait to graduate!!! Researchers have shown that music can be used as a motivational tool to increase levels of physical activity (Elliott, Carr, & Savage, 2004; Priest & Karageorghis, 2008; Zachopoulou, Tsapakidou, & Derri, 2004). Its True, It's true!!!

I've been very busy this fall working on my thesis for my masters degree in physical education. You won't believe the topic i'm researching....Music and MOTIVATION. I'm also excited that I passed my state exam to be certified as a health education teacher. Once I finish up all this schooling... Mr. Gym is going to really ROCK! Well I'm afriad I have to get back to work. Enjoy the fall festivities...I hope to see you at the upcoming shows.

Well, it has been a busy summer to say the least. I had a lot of fun playing shows all over the state. I would have to say one of the biggest highlights of the summer was playing at SIX FLAGS! I also had the opportunity to visit around 20 daycares and jam out with some cool kids. In addition to playing shows, I have also been working on new material for my next CD...It’s going to rock! And finally…be on the lookout for (MGB) shows, which of course stands for Mr. Gym’s Band. Peace

5 gigs in the last 9 days! It's been a blast jammin' with the band members and meeting new people. I would have to say that the second set at the Kindness Fundraiser was a magical one! Greg, Ben, and I had so much fun jammin' out with the kids at Birch Grove. On Friday night, I got the opportunity to meet the “The Music Making Mommas” an acapella group with some powerful voices and on Sunday I was hanging out with Lynn Lewis a really cool children’s entertainer at the WEBE 108 Kids Fest in Wilton. Keep on Jammin'

I was on bus duty one day and “Terri the Bus Driver” who drives bus 210 asked me if I had a bus song. I told her that I play “Wheels on the Bus”…which we all know is way over played. So long story- short...Terri wrote the lyrics for “The Cool Bus Song”. The song is almost finished, you can listen to a short clip from it in the music section. It's cool!

The following musicians will be joining me onstage at upcoming band shows… The famous TIS band teacher- Mr. Benjamin Golder-Novick on saxophone, trombone, trumpet, and flute. The rookie Phys. Ed teacher from Birch Grove- Mr. Gregory Talbot (BallWig) on bass guitar. The Pre-School kid prodigy- Mr. Little Gym on vocals and percussion. WE ARE GOING TO ROCK!

The CD Release Party was a blast! Popcorn was flying everywhere as we jammed out on stage. A BIG THANKS to Jenn Dineen for planning and organizing this event. Check out the new pictures.

Tickets for the CD Release party on Friday, October 24th sold out in less than a week! I have a couple tickets left over…contact me if you want them. Once my tickets are gone check out EBay! Little Mr. Gym and I wrote out the set list last night for the upcoming show and it going to be awesome … I’m looking forward to Mr. Golder-Novick’s trombone solo.
